Dr Rana completed my cataract surgery on both eyes. The experience: from identifying the need for cataract surgery to my final check-up went flawlessly. First, Dr Rana is patient oriented. He explains process steps and procedures at an understandable level, he is responsive to questions and provided guidance throughout the process. Secondly, his experience and skills are reflected in his professionalism. He and his staff made an outstanding team. I would recommend Dr Rana to anyone requiring a specialist in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Rana and the marvelous staff at St. Lucie Eye have restored my vision. I'm 73 years old. Dr. Rana performed cataract surgery on my eyes. My vision is now 20/20. I am truly blessed to have found St. Lucie Eye Associates!

Dr. Rana is bright, personable, caring and compassionate. He listens and talks to you and not at you. He is willing to answer any questions you have and is focused on you as the patient rather than whoever is waiting in the next room. He is very approachable and encourages you to call if you have problems between visits. His team travels with him so you get the same people every visit no matter which location you are at. They represent his philosophy of medicine well which provides continuity. I am grateful to be under his care!

Dr. Rana, Oh my! Not sure how to express the gratitude I feel for him and his wonderful Staff in office and in surgery. Dr. Rana has no Idea how much life he has given me. I have had four aneurisms and a stroke that cost me my left eye vision. I had been using glasses since the age of 6 and now at 64 was losing the only vision I had of my right eye, no longer able to drive and looking at what my life would be like. I felt that I had reached the end of my independence. I was so sad that for a few months I was so depressed. Then God put Dr Rana in my path, since the first day I felt hope and excitement of what could be in the future. My instinct said go for it! Do IT! And I did. Everything Dr. Rana spoke to me about and the expectation of surgery did not even come close to the result of my now 20/20 right eye vision and the exceptional peripheral vision of my left eye. Dr Rana, every day you will be in my prayers, I will thank God for placing you in this earth, and allowing you to become who you are, a professional of empathetic nature, dedicated to your patients. With willingness to listen and discuss, your humbleness of under promising and overdelivering. You are one fantastic young man, and I will always be thankful for this new view of my life you gave me...

Recently, I had cataract surgery at the St Lucie Eye One Day Surgical Center on Tiffany. I was apprehensive as I do not like anyone touching my eyes – I have never used eyedrops and of course, I’ve never had contacts. Dr. Rana is highly skilled and knowledgeable. He is most importantly, compassionate and encouraging. In his care, I am totally at ease. The morning at the center I was completely comfortable. The center is well-staffed in order to provide amazing, specialized care during every step of the procedure. I never had any pain or discomfort. Dr. Rana had a bit of an issue because my pupil would not dilate enough but he managed to complete the surgery successfully. I would highly recommend Dr. Rana and his staff at the St Lucie Eye One Day Surgical Center for cataract surgery!

My visit was pretty fast so I was very happy because I have a very anxious Pup named Toby who gets very upset when he is left alone too long. Dr Ran is very quick and I like him so much since he took over from Dr. Cannon.

At the risk of being too flowery can't say enough positive things about this practice...the TEAMWORK is evident from the moment you enter you are NOT treated like "omg you are interrupting something more important n it isnt you " Well not here ...first impressions are important! From the excellent exam n trust me I have worn glasses since 3rd grade n am now 70 so I've had a few exams Then the bad news I need cataract surgery AAAAAAA n then treatment for undiagnosed glaucoma ?? but between Karina n Marybeth n James n the wonderful people in billing n most of all Dr Rana himself !!My surgery was early AM n as promised I was home by 945 This is now day 8 n I CAN SEE !!! Holy cow the colors the colors !!who remembered they are so bright so pretty so at the risk if running out of space I can only say to anyone looking for the best care that I've been able to find Look no further dont be afraid follow docs instructions CAREFULLY n be patient it's getting better as promised on a daily basis??n btw the care at the cataract center in PSL is also excellent ALL ACES DOC you chose your team well

The staff at the Ft Pierce location was fantastic! Efficient and professional with a friendly touch. Dr Rana was fantastic too! Clear and concise with diagnosis and he didn't rush.
